Watchlist for March 15th

IPCI – You know it and love it. Unfortunately, with their settlement sealed, there is no way to tell how good Friday’s news was. Potential long or short.

ipci

ZOLT – Nice big move Friday on good volume on no news. Potential long, but I am not enthusiastic.

zolt

CBEH – Nice breakout on earnings.

Watchlist for March 11th

CPWM – On short watch. This is a quite real company, though, not your normal penny stock dross.

cpwm

CHGI – ALFSS.

chgi

SCOK – The one that got away. The best play would have been to short into the vertical spike on its last up day. No easy play now.

scok

BVTI – The one that got away, part two.

bvti

MSEH – The new NXTH. It should have some more upside but someone would have to be crazy to buy it here. ALFSS.

mseh

Watchlist for March 10th

TEAR – Beautiful afternoon fade today. Just memorize this chart and you can save hundreds of dollars by not buying Tim Sykes’ Pennystocking Part Deux DVD. I am short 900 shares that I will look to cover early tomorrow morning, likely into a morning panic or gap down.

tear

tear_1day

AENY – This pump’s solidly into dump phase and IB and TOS and Speedtrader all had plenty of shares much of the day. This will likely fall back towards $2.20 in a couple days. I am short 3,000 shares that I can only hope I can be patient with.

aeny

BVTI – Sketchy pink sheet stock up on no news. ALFSS.

bvti

ZANE – This stock is insane in the membrane and today caused me some pain.

zane

Disclosure: Short 3,000 AENY and 900 TEAR. No positions in any other stock mentioned. This blog has a terms of use that is incorporated by reference into this post; you can find all my disclaimers and disclosures there as well.

Watchlist for March 8th

MCGI – ALFSS. IB still does not recognize this symbol and I am worried that there will be no shares to short of this when it tanks. As of last Friday, IB, Penson, Sogotrade, and Goldman Sachs all lacked shares to short of this ideal pump.

mcgi

ZANE – Nice supernova on fluffy news. I am short over the weekend and will look to cover Monday morning. I bet it has more downside. It could also be a nice buy if it starts to perk up off of consolidation (as it did Friday before its huge mid-day spike).

zane

GLRP – A ZANE imitator. Potential long under the same circumstances as I would buy ZANE.

glrp

STTN – I am long this pumpish chart but will likely sell very soon. Nate of Investorslive mentioned it in the InvestorsUnderground chat several times on Friday and he said it best on his watchlist:

“let’s see Monday if it starts to pick up speed, Friday seemed to have a lot of volume coming in so a move should be near – if not… will be taking it off but wouldn’t be surprised to see a pop .60+ once they let it go” .

sttn

SCOK – Looking to short on green/red and gradually fading price action. This is jumpy and will have to be traded with a wide stop.

scok

Disclosure: Long 8,000 shares of STTN and short 3,000 ZANE. No positions in any other stock mentioned. This blog has a terms of use that is incorporated by reference into this post; you can find all my disclaimers and disclosures there as well.

Watchlist for March 5th

WKLI – Dead pump walking. ALFSS but not up enough to excite me.

wkli

MCGI – Pump! Should gap up tomorrow and then maybe go sideways. ALFSS. Too bad IB does not even recognize the symbol, let alone have shares to short. I have shares and I’ll sell them soon after the open.

mcgi

ZANE – ALFSS. Very IFLG-like. Low-floater so could run another day. Potential long on strength.

zane

TIVO – Huge good news, I nailed the alert in chat. Could continue tomorrow.

tivo

Disclosure: Long 2,000 MCGI that I intend to sell near the open tomorrow. No positions in any other stock mentioned. This blog has a terms of use that is incorporated by reference into this post; you can find all my disclaimers and disclosures there as well.

Watchlist for March 3rd

WKLI – The new pump, with one promoter being promised “up to $500,000” and one getting 1.5 million free trading shares. No clear play; it will gap up and after that who knows, just watch for now. Potential short in a couple days.

wkli

SQNM – Looking overextended after the run due to an analyst raising the price target from $4 to $16. Potential short on weakness.

sqnm

VSTNQ – Short on red.

vstnq

SCEY – This was the first OTC stock I shorted, when it was pumped to about $1.50 back in the summer of 2007. I will look to short if possible on weakness. Still too cheap and low-volume for my taste.

scey

MERC – Beautiful breakout. Potential long.

merc

YUII – Breakout, watch for continuation.

yuii

STXXQ – Potential long on r/g or any sign of strength.

stxxq

EONC – Low volume, but potential long.

Disclosure: No positions in any stock mentioned. This blog has a terms of use that is incorporated by reference into this post; you can find all my disclaimers and disclosures there as well.

Watchlist for March 1st

I do not see any ideal plays. VSTNQ is my top watch.

IFLG – Still on short watch, but it would have to break some support for me really to get excited about shorting. A potential long as well. Basically, unless it moves a bunch, I won’t play it.

iflg

VSTNQ – Long on strength or red/green, short on weakness or green/red.

vstnq

BRYN – PennystockChaser re-pump Friday … I would love for them to get it up a bunch more so I can short. I won’t even consider playing this long. HSCO is another stock they are re-pumping.

bryn

Watchlist for February 25th

IFLG – Awesome supernova. I have misplayed it horribly and still made $4k or so on it (realized profit). I am short 3,000 shares overnight. Tim Sykes has made somewhere north of $15k on it in the last two days (why not buy his Pennystocking Part Deux DVD that I own and recommend?)

iflg

IFLG_intraday

AMOK – The new NXTH? Pumper Jarret Wollstein (who has pumped NXTH, AENY, and JYHW in the last six months) is doing his darnedest to make this horrific reverse-merged company the next big pump. Here is his disclaimer:

“The distribution costs of this report to new subscribers, one hundred thirty thousand dollars, were funded by Benchmark Media Ltd. in an effort to create investor awareness of Amarok Resources, Inc. Benchmark Media Ltd. is neither a broker-dealer nor investment advisor, but is a shareholder in Amarok Resources, Inc., holding 1.5 million shares of Amarok Resources, Inc. stock which can be publicly traded (sold) at any time by Benchmark Media Ltd. group. It is anticipated that this report will generate new subscriptions for Intelligent Investor Report and expect to receive an unknown amount of revenue from new subscriptions from the subscription offer contained herein. Jarret Wollstein, the reviewer [or analyst], has been paid twenty-five thousand dollars in compensation for research, preparing and publishing this report and other publishing venues. “

I bought 2,200 shares of AMOK today and will see how far up the pump I will ride them. I will sell them sooner rather than later, though. Buying pumps is very risky and I do not recommend it.

amok

NVLT – Down 80% on FDA news. Had a tiny bounce in it today, maybe more tomorrow. I am bad at these plays though.

nvlt

VPHM – This higher-priced earnings runner could continue.

vphm

Disclosure: Long 2200 AMOK and short 3000 IFLG. No positions in any other stock mentioned. This blog has a terms of use that is incorporated by reference into this post; you can find all my disclaimers and disclosures there as well.
