I answer the following questions:
1. How do you set up your pages on Interactive Brokers TWS so that symbols don’t disappear when you disconnect?
2. Do you recommend Tim Sykes’ TimAlerts service to those who have no experience trading? Do his DVDs explain very basic stuff like how to make a trade on a trading platform?

Youtube messed up. I just re-uploaded the video so it should be live in 15 minutes.
Right on, I really want to see #2
Please increase your microphone volume.
Your vids have a low volume.
And, don’t take my word for it – turn on some music and set a level – then replay a vid.
I am enjoying the daily recaps and even more so these Q&A’s.
Every time I turn off my computer it lowers the gain on the mic. 🙁
I would add, TWS IB paper trading is spotty on executions at times. The high volume opens and some symbols have issues on entries and exits, especially market orders. This is not always true, but often enough. Not so with their real trades, of course, thankfully!
Think or Swim paper trade is great.
You do not need to deposit any funds to start and lots of instructional vids.
The charts are real time but the quotes are delayed – makes reading the Level 2 kind of weird but for a noob the level 2 is a mystery anyway (hint: I’m still a noob).
I started this way with funds at Zecco.
There are tutorial videos on the IB website that will show you how to set-up and use the platform.
Awesome, i plan on using Interactive brokers, and these tutorials/ Q&A help a lot, for 1 i didn’t know about being able to make a “shorts availiable” column. Anyways not trying to spam your site haha i just want to let you know i appreciate all your efforts and that all of these videos are great for a noob like me to learn from. cheers dude, and on to the next vid!
Hey it isn’t spam if you aren’t saying “h0t Vl@gr4 n0w!” 🙂
