Black River Petroleum $BRPC gets promoted by Capital Financial Media via landing page

With a high price, relatively large market cap, big move on low volume since the pump started, and small pump budget, BRPC is an almost ideal short. There is an online landing page here: http://www2.untappedwealthonline.com/brpc/index.html

StockMister.com has been compensated Eighteen-Thousand Dollars Cash via Bank Wire Transfer by a third party (Speak Easy Media LLC) for a 1 Day Marketing Program regarding WIIM.

More recently I have received emails linking to a landing page: http://www2.untappedwealthonline.com/wiim/index.html

  1. HEY!

I have a general question about pretty much every pump chart like the one above….. and a million other questions as well. This is long as crap so sorry )

The initial volume spike @ march 18th around 0.45 per share- I assume this is initial (or a possible continuation?) buying from the pumpers/company insiders? Why does this volume spike not affect share price? Or is this just wash trading? If wash trading, why so early and so….sudden? Many of the pump set ups I have seen (which is not a lot bc im a beginner) have these pre-pumped volume spikes and I never fully understood what the story on this was…

Another question about volume : http://tos.mx/82UGwV

This is a chart of $DCTH prior to, and after a 16:1 reverse split. There was a significant volume spike the trading day before the company announced the split (which they announced the night before the split)… This is insider trading right? I just dont understand how that many shares being purchased by company insiders ( I assume) can have such a small affect on share price…. It DID uptick but so slightly… What am i missing?

Also- I’m opening an account, and will fund it with around 2k with suretrader. I would like to know, if you dont mind, what parameters (just generally) you would put in place for yourself if you were in a similar situation without any other funds available to trade with, in terms of a trading strategy……. Just general- mostly long or short, mostly otcbb or something else. Limits / expected number of trades per week (obviously depends on the markets and setups but…. is this COMPLETELY dictated by that or?). I feel somewhat directionless in terms of how to apply Tim’s strategies with the money I have. I have read you mentioning working more and saving more, but these 3k to 3 million stories i keep hearing make me want to at least TRY with what I have.
I can trade generally from noon until day end sometimes slightly earlier, with a decent amount of time to set aside for research.

LASTLY- how do you calculate total expected costs before a trade (commissions, ECN , etc)? It’s not that its is difficult, but it seems pumps are extremely volatile, and calculating needed break even %’s might cost valuable trading time if its on a stock with price action that I have not researched, but have scanned and has decent price action. Even if i do calculate these values ahead of time, the share value volatility makes it hard to keep the math up to speed it seems…

    THANKS

  2. *** The $DCTH volume spike was not the night before the reverse split, I mistook this chart for a diff one sorry
